HSE Manager

Are you a seasoned HSE pro ready to elevate safety standards in dynamic construction environments? Haystack Recruitment is on the hunt for an exceptional HSE Manager to join a leading construction group delivering ICI and residential projects throughout North America

What You’ll Do:

• Champion and enhance the Safety Management System, ensuring top-notch policies, procedures, and hazard assessments across all sites.
• Guide and coach project teams on safety best practices, compliance, and documentation.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective actions for a zero-harm culture.
• Oversee training programs, certifications, and onboarding to keep everyone sharp and qualified.
• Analyze metrics, audit trends, and drive continuous improvements to boost performance.

Who We’re Looking For:

• 7-10+ years in HSE within construction or high-risk settings.
• Post-secondary cert/diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, plus CSO/NCSO certification.
• Preferred: CRSP, CSP, CHSC, or equivalent.
• Deep knowledge of Canadian OHS regs (US OSHA a plus), incident management, and MS Office suite.
• Strong communicator, problem-solver, and relationship-builder with a valid driver’s license and passport for cross-border travel.
